Research – Infographics and Maps

I was looking into different kinds of infographics, from different shaped graphs, bar charts and so on. But I always came back to the idea of using a map, so I wanted to see if I could display the UK map in a different way.

I found this on behance which really stood out.

It was a magazine article looking at climate change and the effects of drought in Brazil’s southeast region.

The image was a drawing which was put into illustrator then created using vector shapes and drawings.

I will do a similar thing, draw parts of the UK with land marks of each county and scan them into illustrator then make them into vector graphics.
